Die Saison 2000/01 war die sechste reguläre Saison der West Coast Hockey League. Während der regulären Saison bestritten die neun Teams jeweils 72 Spiele. In den Play-offs setzten sich die San Diego Gulls durch und gewannen den vierten Taylor Cup in ihrer Vereinsgeschichte.

Teamänderungen

Folgende Änderungen wurden vor Beginn der Saison vorgenommen:

• Die Long Beach Ice Dogs aus der International Hockey League wurden als Expansionsteam in die Liga aufgenommen.
