Ann Southam
Ann Southam CM (* 4. Februar 1937 in Winnipeg, Manitoba; † 25. November 2010 in Toronto, Ontario) war eine kanadische Komponistin.
Leben
Southam studierte Komposition bei Samuel Dolin am Royal Conservatory of Music sowie Klavier bei Pierre Souvairan<ref>Pierre Souvairan. In: Encyclopedia of Music in Canada. herausgegeben von The Canadian Encyclopedia (Lua-Fehler in Modul:Multilingual, Zeile 153: attempt to index field 'data' (a nil value), französisch).</ref> und Elektronische Musik bei Gustav Ciamaga an der University of Toronto. Sie war als freischaffende Komponistin in Toronto tätig und komponierte Elektronische Musik für das Toronto Dance Theatre, Orchester-, Kammer- und Klaviermusik.
