Arthur Gore holte sich seinen ersten von drei Wimbledon-Titeln durch einen Sieg über den Titelverteidiger Reginald Doherty.

Bei den Damen errang Charlotte Cooper ihren vierten Titel. Sie besiegte Blanche Bingley-Hillyard in der Challenge Round in zwei Sätzen.
