Vitalius I.

Vitalius I. (auch Vitalios, Vitalis I.) war Bischof von Antiochia am Orontes zu Beginn des 4. Jahrhunderts.

Über Vitalius, der die Nachfolge von Tyrannion antrat, ist wenig bekannt. Er nahm 314 am Konzil von Ancyra teil. Theodoret nennt ihn als denjenigen Bischof, der nach der großen Christenverfolgung unter Galerius mit dem Wiederaufbau der zentralen Kirche in der Altstadt von Antiochia begann.<ref>Theodoret, Kirchengeschichte 1,3,1.</ref>
