Die Victoria Cougars waren ein kanadisches Eishockeyfranchise der Western Hockey League aus Victoria, British Columbia.
Geschichte
Die Victoria Cougars wurden zur Saison 1949/50 als Franchise der Pacific Coast Hockey League gegründet. In Victoria spielte bereits von 1922 bis 1926 ein gleichnamiges Team. Die erfolgreichste Spielzeit in der Teamgeschichte war die Saison 1950/51, in der die Mannschaft den Lester Patrick Cup, den Meistertitel der PCHL, gewann. Nachdem die PCHL im Anschluss an die Saison 1951/52 durch die Western Hockey League abgelöst wurde, schlossen sich die Victoria Cougars dieser an und blieben insgesamt neun Jahre in der Liga.
Im Anschluss an die Saison 1960/61 wurden die Victoria Cougars nach Los Angeles, Kalifornien, umgesiedelt und spielten fortan als Los Angeles Blades in der WHL.
