Tourismus in Spanien
Der Tourismus ist ein wichtiger Wirtschaftsfaktor für Spanien. Im Jahre 2024 lag der Beitrag des Tourismus zum BIP bei 12,6 %, 12,3 % der Arbeitsplätze hängen von ihm ab, es gab 94 Millionen ausländische Besucher.<ref> La Vanguardia "El turisme aporta el 12,6 % del PIB i se situa als máxims histórics del 2019" von Noemi Navas, Seite 60 23/12/2025 </ref>
Spanien wurde 2025 von insgesamt 96,8 Millionen Turisten bersucht, die meisten kamen aus Großbritannien (19 Millionen) gefolgt von Frankreich (12,7 Millionen) und Deutschland (12 Millionen). Hauptreiseziel war Katalonien (20 Millionen Touristen) gefolgt von den Baleareischen und den Kanarischen Inseln mit jeweils 15,7 Millionen Besuchern´.<ref> Expansión "El turismo internacional se modera pese al record de visistas y de gasto" Diego S. Andalusien und Valencia. Bei den Städtereisen sind insbesondere die Ziele Madrid, Barcelona und Santiago de Compostela beliebt.
