Thelpusa

Thelpusa (Vorlage:GrcS), auch als Telphusa ({{#invoke:Vorlage:lang|flat}}) oder Thelphusa ({{#invoke:Vorlage:lang|flat}}) überliefert, ist in der griechischen Mythologie eine arkadische Najade.

Ihr Vater war der Flussgott Ladon.<ref>Pausanias 8,25,2</ref> Sie war namensgebend für die gleichnamige Stadt Thelphusa.<ref>Stephanos von Byzanz s. v. {{#invoke:Vorlage:lang|flat}}.</ref> Der Name der Nymphe ist mehrfach inschriftlich belegt, auf Kreta gab es ein ihr geweihtes Heiligtum, wohl arkadischer Auswanderer, so dass von einem Kult auch in Arkadien selbst auszugehen ist.
