Strongyli ({{#invoke:Vorlage:lang|full |CODE=el |SCRIPTING=Grek |SERVICE={{#if: {{#invoke:TemplUtl|faculty| 0 }} | neu}}griechisch |SUITABLE=prefix neu}} (f. sg.)) ist eine kleine, praktisch unbewohnte griechische Insel im äußersten Osten der Präfektur Dodekanes. Bei der Volkszählung von 2021 wurde eine Einwohnerzahl von genau einer Person festgestellt.
Strongyli liegt etwa fünf Kilometer östlich der Insel Kastelorizo, zu deren Gemeindegebiet sie auch gehört, und ist damit die östlichste Insel Griechenlands. Sie ist lediglich gut drei Kilometer von der türkischen Küste entfernt.
Die Insel ist etwa 1,5 km lang, bis zu 0,7 km breit und hat eine Fläche von etwa einem Quadratkilometer. Sie ist kaum bewaldet. Da sie landwirtschaftlich nicht genutzt wird, bestimmen Buschwerk und Macchia das Aussehen.
Die kleine Insel bildet die östlichste Landfläche Griechenlands, der auf ihr stehende Leuchtturm ist das östlichste Gebäude auf griechischem Boden. Sie wird für militärische Zwecke genutzt. 2021 wurde eine 324 Meter lange Materialseilbahn von der Anlegestelle zu einem kleinen militärischen Beobachterposten errichtet.<ref>Cargo cable way, auf tektinn.com</ref> Im Jahr 2024 folgte der Bau einer drei Meter breiten Straße von der Anlegestelle zum höchsten Punkt der Insel. Aufgrund des unwegsamen Geländes erwies sich der Straßenbau als schwierig und langwierig.<ref>Strongyli islet in easternmost Greece to get its first ever road, auf keeptalkinggreece.com</ref>
Seit Mitte der 2020er Jahre gibt es als touristisches Angebot Bootsfahrten von Kastelorizo nach Strongyli. Während des Aufenthalts können die Touristen den Leuchtturm besichtigen sowie schwimmen und schnorcheln.
Zeitungsberichte aus dem Jahr 2015, wonach der US-amerikanische Schauspieler Johnny Depp die Insel um 4,3 Millionen Euro erworben habe, lassen sich nicht verifizieren und sind umstritten.<ref>Johnny Depp buys Greek island, auf telegrafi.com</ref><ref>Der Eigentümer von Strongyli ist Johnny Depp – oder?, auf hellas.blog</ref>
