Paul Lereim

Paul Jostein Lereim (* 15. September 1938) ist ehemaliger Professor für Orthopädie an der Universität Oslo.

Leben

Paul Lereim stammt aus einer Priesterfamilie. Er studierte Medizin in Innsbruck und Kiel und war danach der letzte Direktor des orthopädische Spezialkrankenhauses Sophies Minde in Oslo. Paul Lereim ist einer der chirurgisch-orthopädischen Pioniere in Norwegen und bekannt für schwierigste Knie- und Hüftgelenksersatz-Operationen.

Er war Nationalmannschaftsarzt der norwegischen Eishockey-Mannschaft bei sechs Olympischen Spielen und Leiter der Anti-Doping-Arbeit bei mehreren Eishockey-Weltmeisterschaften.<ref>Hier ist der wirklich große Verstoß im Fall Johaug. Oktober 2016, abgerufen am 27. September 2025 (). </ref>
