Die OFC Champions League 2008/09 war die achte Ausspielung eines ozeanischen Meister-Wettbewerbs für Vereinsmannschaften im Fußball und fand vom 1. November 2008 bis zum 2. Mai 2009 wiederum mit sechs Vereinen aus fünf Ländern statt. Die Mannschaften kamen aus Fidschi, Neuseeland, Papua-Neuguinea, von den Salomonen und aus Vanuatu. Waitakere United aus Neuseeland qualifizierte sich für das Turnier als Titelverteidiger. Vier weitere Teams qualifizierten sich aufgrund ihrer Platzierungen in ihrer heimischen Liga, hinzu kam Hekari United FC aus Papua-Neuguinea, welcher ursprünglich eine Qualifikation hätte bestreiten sollen. Da jedoch die beiden Konkurrenten Tupapa FC von den Cookinseln und Nauti FC aus Tuvalu ihre Teilnahme zurückzogen, erreichte Hekari United kampflos die Gruppenphase. Die sechs Klubs spielten in zwei Gruppen mit jeweils zwei Heim- und Auswärtsspielen die Teilnehmer an den Finalspielen aus.

Der Turniersieger Auckland City FC qualifizierte sich für die FIFA-Klub-Weltmeisterschaft 2009, die in den VA Emiraten ausgetragen wurde.
