Keto (Vorlage:GrcS) ist in der griechischen Mythologie der Name einer Meeresgöttin.

Keto ist die Tochter des Pontos und der Gaia. Mit ihrem Bruder, dem alten Meeresgott Phorkys, gebar sie die Gorgonen und Graien sowie Echidna und Ladon.<ref>Hesiod, Theogonie 238; 270–277; 295–297; 333–336 f.; Bibliotheke des Apollodor 1,2,6; 2,4,2.</ref> Auch die Mutter der Hesperiden soll sie gewesen sein.<ref>Scholion zu Apollonios von Rhodos, Argonautika 4,1399.</ref> Laut Euphorion hatte sie auch mit Typhon Kinder.<ref>Euphorion im Etymologicum magnum 396,31.</ref> Der Asteroid Ceto wurde nach ihr benannt.
