Die Frobisherbucht ({{#invoke:Vorlage:lang|full|CODE=en|SCRIPTING=Latn|SERVICE=englisch}}) ist eine Bucht an der Ostküste der zum kanadischen Territorium Nunavut gehörenden Baffininsel.<ref name="cgndb" /> Sie öffnet sich nach Osten zur Davisstraße hin. Die Buchttiefe beträgt etwa 265 km. Am Übergang zur Davisstraße ist die Frobisherbucht 70 km breit. Die Wasserfläche beträgt etwa 10.000 km².
Lage
Die Frobisherbucht wird von den beiden Halbinseln Meta-Incognita (im Südwesten) und Hall (im Nordosten) eingerahmt. In ihrem Inneren liegt der Küstenort Iqaluit (früher Frobisher Bay). Am nördlichen Außenrand der Frobisherbucht befindet sich die Insel Loks Land, am südlichen Außenrand die Inselgruppe „Lower Savage Islands“ sowie die Edgell-Insel.<ref name="cgndb" />
Geschichte
