Dave Nachmanoff

Dave Nachmanoff (* 23. Juli 1964) ist ein amerikanischer Folk-Sänger und Gitarrist.

Leben

Nachmanoff stammt aus Davis in Kalifornien. Er hat Philosophie studiert und einen Doktortitel in diesem Fach, weswegen er sich auch manchmal als „Doc Dave“ bezeichnet. Diese Ausbildung findet sich auch in seinen Liedtexten wieder, die oft von hohem philosophischen Gehalt sind und manchmal auch große Philosophen wie z. B. René Descartes erwähnen.

Im Alter von Zehn trat er mit Elizabeth Cotton auf.
