Canelas ist eine Gemeinde im Nordwesten Portugals.
Canelas gehört zum Kreis Vila Nova de Gaia im Distrikt Porto, besitzt eine Fläche von 6,9 km² und hat 13.459 Einwohner (Stand 30. Juni 2011)<ref name="Metadaten Einwohnerzahl PT 131703">www.ine.pt – Indikator Resident population by Place of residence, Sex and Age; Decennial in der Datenbank des Instituto Nacional de Estatística</ref>.
Seit 1994 ist Canelas mit der französischen Stadt Langon im Département Gironde verschwistert.
