Amphoe Chana ({{#invoke:Vorlage:lang|full |CODE=th |SCRIPTING=Thai |SERVICE=thailändisch}}, {{#invoke:Vorlage:lang|full|CODE=ms|SCRIPTING=Latn|SERVICE=malaiisch}}) ist ein Landkreis (Amphoe – Verwaltungs-Distrikt) im Südosten der Provinz Songkhla. Die Provinz Songkhla liegt in der Südregion von Thailand an der Küste zum Golf von Thailand.

Geographie

Benachbarte Distrikte und Gebiete (von Osten im Uhrzeigersinn): die Amphoe Thepha, Na Thawi, Sadao, Hat Yai, Na Mom und Mueang Songkhla. Alle Amphoe liegen in der Provinz Songkhla. Im Nordosten liegt der Golf von Thailand.

Geschichte

Ursprünglich war der heutige Landkreis Chana zusammen mit Palian, Thepha und Songkhla eine der vier Mueang, die Mueang Phatthalung untergeordnet waren. Als Songkhla von Phatthalung abgetrennt und Bangkok zugeordnet wurde, wurde Chana Songkhla zugesprochen.

Es gibt drei Kleinstädte (Thesaban Tambon) im Landkreis:
