Sanma ist eine Provinz im Nordwesten des südpazifischen Inselstaats Vanuatu. Die Region besteht aus der Insel Espiritu Santo, mit 3.955,5 km² Landfläche die größte Insel Vanuatus, der kleineren Insel Malo sowie einigen Eilanden vor den Küsten der beiden Hauptinseln. Die Provinz grenzt im Norden an die ebenfalls zu Vanuatu zählende Provinz Torba, im Osten an Penama und im Süden an Malampa.
Benennung
Wie bei allen (der insgesamt sechs) Provinzen von Vanuatu leitet sich auch die Bezeichnung Sanma von den Namen der in der Region gelegenen Hauptinseln bzw. Inselgruppen, hier von (Espiritu) Santo und Malo, ab.

Bevölkerung
Die Provinz zählte 2015 rund 53.100 Bewohner, bei einer Landfläche von 4248 km². Der Großteil der Bevölkerung lebt auf Espiritu Santo, wo sich auch die Provinzhauptstadt Luganville befindet.
