Tivadar Kardos

Vorlage:Hinweisbaustein Tivadar Kardos (* 26. September 1921 in Budapest; † 15. Mai 1998) war ein ungarischer Komponist und Autor im Schach.

Kardos – von Beruf Akademiker – hat mehr als 400 Schachaufgaben komponiert. Vor allem konzentrierte er sich auf Zweizüger sowie Selbst- und Hilfsmattaufgaben.

Auch betätigte er sich als Organisator. Er war Vorsitzender des Budapester Schachaufgaben-Komitees. Zusammen mit István Rágó gab er von 1969 bis 1975 die Zeitschrift „Feladványkedvelők Lapja“ (Blatt der Problemfreunde) heraus.
