Auf dem Debütalbum spielte die Band rohen, chaotischen, norwegischen Black Metal<ref name=norsksvartmetall>A History Of Norwegian Black Metal (Memento vom 11. Juli 2012 im Internet Archive), abgerufen am 4. Februar 2013.</ref>, der mit dem von Darkthrone<ref name=norsksvartmetall/> und speziell ihrem Album Transilvanian Hunger<ref name=totm>Urgehal "Arma Christi". In: Tales of the Macabre, Nr. 5.</ref> verglichen wurde, aber auch Celtic-Frost-Einflüsse aufweist.<ref name=totm/> Die Texte sind von Blasphemie, Satanismus, der Apokalypse und dem Ende der Christen und ihres Gottes.

Kritiken

Im Tales of the Macabre wurde Arma Christi als „cooles und sehr blasphemisches Album“ bezeichnet.<ref name=totm/>
