Das Bank of the West Classic 2010 war die 14. Ausgabe des Tennis-Hartplatzturniers in Stanford. Es war als eines von nur fünf Premier-Turnieren Teil der WTA Tour 2010. Das Turnier fand vom 24. Juli bis zum 1. August 2010 auf dem Campus der Stanford University statt und war der erste Wettbewerb der US Open Series, der Vorbereitungsserie auf die US Open.
Titelverteidigerin im Einzel war Marion Bartoli und im Doppel die Paarung Serena Williams und Venus Williams.
Im Einzel gewann Wiktoryja Asaranka gegen Marija Scharapowa mit 6:4, 6:1 und im Doppel Lindsay Davenport / Liezel Huber gegen Chan Yung-jan / Zheng Jie mit 7:5, 6:78, [10:8].
Das Teilnehmerfeld des Einzelbewerbs bestand aus 30 Spielerinnen, jenes des Doppelbewerbs aus 16 Paaren. Die zwei topgesetzten Spielerinnen im Einzel erhielten jeweils ein Freilos in die zweite Runde.
