Cempaka Putih ist ein Subdistrikt von Zentral-Jakarta, Indonesien.

Geographie

Unter den acht Kecamatan von Zentraljakarta wird von Cempaka Putih der 6. Platz (466,52 ha) erreicht bei einem Anteil von 9,57 Prozent. Die Distriktgrenze (Umfang) ist 10,8 km lang.

Lage und Ausdehnung

Cempaka Putih liegt im Südosten von Jakarta Pusat. Beginnend im Südwesten wird Cempaka Putih im Uhrzeigersinn von folgenden Kecamatan umgeben:

  • im Südwesten von Paseban (Kec. Senen)
  • im Westen von Johar Baru, Kampung Rawa, Galur (alle drei Kec. Johar Baru)
  • im Norden von Cempaka Baru, Sumur Batu (beide Kec. Kemayoran)
  • im Osten von Kayu Putih (Kec. Pulogadung)
  • im Südosten von Rawamangun (Kec. Pulogadung)
  • im Süden von Kayu Utara und Kayu Mantis (beide Kec. Mataram)

Der Distrikt wurde 1969 aus Teilen des Distrikts Senen gebildet. 1993 wurde der Distrikt Johar Baru mit 4 Kelurahan abgetrennt.
