Paolo Urso, geboren in [[Autonome Region Sizilien|Sizilien]], wurde am 7. Oktober 1962 zum [[Priester (Christentum)|Priester]] geweiht.<br />

Am 16. Februar 2002 wurde er von [[Papst]] [[Johannes Paul II.]] zum [[Bistum Ragusa|Bischof von Ragusa]] ernannt. Die [[Weihesakrament#Episkopat|Bischofsweihe]] spendete ihm der [[Erzbistum Palermo|Erzbischof von Palermo]], [[Salvatore De Giorgi|Salvatore Kardinal De Giorgi]], am 12. April desselben Jahres. [[Konsekration|Mitkonsekratoren]] waren der Bischof von [[Bistum Acireale|Acireale]], [[Salvatore Gristina]], und der [[Apostolischer Nuntius|Apostolische Nuntius]] in Italien, Erzbischof [[Paolo Romeo]].<br />
