Die Verarbeitung bildet einen lokal bedeutenden Industriezweig. Daneben ist die [[Schinken]]-Herstellung (v.&amp;nbsp;a. [[Serrano-Schinken]]) von Bedeutung; in Calamoche findet jährlich eine Schinkenmesse statt. Daneben sind Landwirtschaft und ländlicher Tourismus wichtige Wirtschaftszweige. <br /> <br /> In der Comarca bzw. durch die Comarca verlaufen u.&amp;nbsp;a. die Tourismusruten &#039;&#039;Ruta del [[El Cid|Cid]]&#039;&#039;, &#039;&#039;Ruta de las Setas&#039;&#039; (&#039;&#039;Pilz-Route&#039;&#039;), &#039;&#039;Ruta del Jamón&#039;&#039; (&#039;&#039;Schinken-Route&#039;&#039;) und die &#039;&#039;Vía verde de [[Ojos Negros]]&#039;&#039;, auch &#039;&#039;Via Minera&#039;&#039;, also [[Bergwerk]]s-Weg genannt. Letztere verläuft bis [[Sagunt]] durch derzeitige und ehemalige Minenstandorte. In [[Monreal del Campo]] befindet sich ein Safran-Museum.<br /> <br /> In der Comarca befindet sich darüber hinaus die [[Laguna de Gallocanta]] (dt. &#039;&#039;Gallocanta-See&#039;&#039;), wichtiger Haltepunkt für Zugvögel.
