Der '''Black Reel Award''' oder „Bolt“ (nach der Blitzform der Preisstatuette) ist ein [[Filmpreis]], der seit dem Jahr 2000 an Personen [[Afroamerikaner|afroamerikanischer]] Herkunft in [[Washington, D.C.]] verliehen wird.

Ins Leben gerufen wurde der Preis von der ''Foundation for the Advancement of African-Americans in Film'' (''FAAAF'') unter der Führung von Tim Gordon und Sabrina McNeal. Gewürdigt werden Leistungen vor und hinter der Kamera in Kinofilmen, Fernsehproduktionen, Dokumentationen, Kurzfilmen und [[Independent-Film]]en. Es werden Preise in verschiedenen Kategorien vergeben.

Im Jahr 2009 fand die Preisverleihung nicht statt.
