Es liegt am Fuß des [[Ahandale Shan]] 阿汗达勒山 im östlichen Teil des [[Qaidam-Becken]]s. Das Kloster wurde 1812 vom 3. <!--chin.-->Ziyuhu Rinpoche<ref>nach chin. Ziyuhu huofo 资玉乎活佛</ref> aus dem [[Ragya-Kloster]] gegründet.<br />
