Cornelis Goldschmeding

Cornelis (Cor) Goldschmeding (* 7. Juli 1927; † 5. Februar 1995) war ein niederländischer Schachkomponist.

Leben

Goldschmeding studierte Wirtschaftswissenschaften in Amsterdam. Danach arbeitete er für die Handelskammer, zunächst als Adjunkt in Amsterdam, zuletzt in Arnhem als Sekretar (Direktor). Er war im Vorstand des Nederlandse Bond van Probleemvrienden und Präsidiumsmitglied der PCCC.

Schachkomposition

Goldschmeding publizierte seine erste Aufgabe mit 12 Jahren. Sein Gesamtwerk umfasst etwa 700 Schachaufgaben, ein Großteil davon Zweizüger. Sehr erfolgreich war Goldschmeding aber auch mit Dreizügern sowie gelegentlich mit Mehrzügern, Hilfsmatts und Märchenschachaufgaben. 1958 wurde er zum Internationalen Preisrichter für Schachkomposition<ref>Internationale Preisrichter für Schachkompositionen</ref> ernannt. Großmeister für Schachkomposition<ref>Großmeister für Schachkompositionen</ref> war er seit 1988. Typisch für sein Schaffen ist nachfolgende Aufgabe.
